OPERATION SKY HAMMER FLYER

During my internship with the USDA Forest Service, I created a public-facing flyer for Operation Sky Hammer, a wildfire aviation program developed to strengthen initial attack response across the Rocky Mountain Region. The project required turning technical information about aerial operations, specialized helicopters, and wildfire suppression into content the public could easily understand.

I researched, wrote, and designed the two-page flyer, incorporating photography and organizing the information around how the program works and why it matters. The finished piece reached approximately 30,000 people and helped introduce the Forest Service’s new wildfire response strategy to a broader audience.
