INTERPRETIVE PANEL FEATURE
U.S. FOREST SERVICE
ABOUT
Interpretive panels are physical, on-site displays that use photography and clear information to help visitors understand the place around them. During my Forest Service internship, the project team asked me to create original photography specifically for a new panel at Mount Blue Sky, so I photographed the area with its layout and educational purpose in mind.
My final images were incorporated into the display, where they support information about the recreation area and give visitors a closer look at the landscape they are exploring. The panel is part of the visitor experience along the Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway, the highest paved road in North America and a heavily visited seasonal destination.
